I have no clue how to perform this operation to assure 100% success on the re-install. and then I think the indexes will re-build themselves correctly in a new re-install. and also should include making sure that there are no files or cache that could affect the new install. this would include making sure the registry contains nothing that wouldĪffect the indexes on the re-install. I need a procedure for completely removing all information relating to outlook accounts so that I can then re-install outlook and re-add the accounts as if it were a new install. Nothing I have tried is allowing me to get my indexes working again.
and when it didn't i did another re-build and still no luck. I also tried deleting a single account and re-adding it to see if the index for that account would rebuild. One interesting point is that when I re-installed office my outlook email accounts were still there even though i thought I would have to re-add them again. Tried uninstalling and re-installing office and it did not help.
